Originally named the South Dakota Educational Fund, the NARAL Pro-Choice South Dakota Foundation was organized in 2000 by former board members of the NARAL Pro-Choice South Dakota 501(C) 4 affiliate. The Foundation was created to educate the public about reproductive freedom and the lack of reproductive health care access in South Dakota.
